The land scenes where shot at 2 of my favourite locations on the east coast in Australia. I had a very clear vision for the scenery. It had to be dramatic cliffs and moody dark clouds… but no rain!

I visualised this for months and we did only have 1 weekend for the shoot, so I prayed! And the earth answered. Dark and stormy clouds, dramatic waves crashing against the cliffs… even a rainbow appeared in a special moment, when I was doing one my emotional tears scene.

It wasn’t acted… I really did tune into the grief and it was a powerful moment and super vulnerable to do this in front of the camera.

Day 1 of the Shoot… excited as a bean!

Getting all the equipement down to the cliffs was a bit of a challenge… but what was more, the tide was rising and the water moved closer, almost encapsulating us. Of course we shot till the last minute and then quickly packed up.

We also managed to do a quick photo shoot!

DAY 2 - Hastings Point

This was one of the most beautiful moments of the whole weekend.

Usually, getting up so early is hard for me, but I couldn’t imagine a better reason than filming my own music video…

While Lisa and me were doing make up from the booth of my car, pretty much still in the dark, our camera man was trying to find coffee.. no luck, cause all the shops were still closed. I actually had a night shift in my then support work job that night and barley got any sleep, but I was wide awake and soo excited, I didn’t actually need any coffee!

Coffee was essential, but pure love for what we do kept us running on Day 3.
After early wake-ups and chasing sunrises for days, the excitement still beat the exhaustion.
